A guitarist, singer and songwriter, Jeff has built up a reputation for startlingly original performances, working without a set list, allowing the unique energy of each night to shape the songs.

"Seeing Jeff Lang was like being at church for three hours - a totally sacred event. He's the man as far as I'm concerned." - John Butler

It is three elements - talent, hard work and commitment - that have fuelled Adam Brand's remarkable success since June 1997 when he left his home in Perth to drive across the Nullabor in search of a break in the East. Now, ten years, eight Golden Guitars, three platinum albums, two gold albums and two gold live DVD’s later, Brand releases what is perhaps the most defining work of his career.

The pigeon holes that exist within music have always been a bad fit for "QYNN." Recently recognised as one of the most "talented guitarists in Australia" his show is unlike any other soloist. QYNN’S ability to sing and play guitar whilst playing digital drums with his feet simultaneously has been described by music critics as "genuinely talented" and his sound like "Neil Finn meets Tommy Emanuel."

Broderick started playing folk and blues music back in 1962. Leaving school and having a variety of jobs, Broderick joined legendary Blues outfit the Adderley Smith Blues Band. In 1968 Broderick was kidnapped by the government of the day and press-ganged into the Australian Army for 2 years, in which he spent most of the time trying to stay out of trouble. Upon his eventual release after the collapse of the Liberal junta he helped form a country roots type act called Sundown.

"I stood at the side of the stage on the Friday night. My eyes got wider, my jaw hung slacker and my feet developed a mind of their own and danced along, outta control."

"The Tent in the Tattersalls car park was pretty much reduced to smouldering rubble by the time Blue Shaddy had finished their set and I got the feeling that night that this is something this Surf-Funk Roots band does on a regular basis"

Sam Fell, Rhythms Magazine Oct 2007
